Meet Dino (aka the Neddy) he has been in our family for 20 plus years now, and it was his trailer that we renovated into what is now our horse box bar. When we started our venture back in 2017, we could never have imagined how the business would grow into what it is today.
From being a little girl, Megan has always called her horses, Neddy’s. So when it came to restoring our old horse box into a wedding day bar, it had to be something that related to our family, and Neddy’s bar was born.
Unfortunately due to an increase in tipi hire, we had to scale back on the use of the horse box bar, and our kind friends now run it at their pub venue. We are pleased Neddy’s horse box bar has gone on to a new venture. This still remains a strong part of our story, and we love to share where it all began.
Our story began whilst walking one Sunday morning with our dogs Mowgli & Baloo. We were reminiscing over our own wedding and one idea that kept coming up was having our own venue to host weddings and events in the High Peak.
After looking into the history of the Tipi, we found that these mountains of canvas would be well used with the outdoor business venture we wanted to undertake. They are the ideal outdoor venue, as they cover all aspects of our well known British weather.
We may be a family business, but we couldn’t get the work done without our valuable team.
